The Supervisors and Administrators of The Hume Center Thank You For Your Support
The mission of The Hume Center is to provide services to the un- and under-served populations of Contra Costa and Alameda County. This mission would not be possible without the generosity of our supporters. That support has come in the form of monetary donations; in-kind donations of items, skill, time, and professional advice; and many other types. Thank you for browsing the various methods of supporting our cause, whether that is through making a donation, attending an event, or contributing in your own unique way. We would greatly value the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your ideas.
We offer professional development services and workshops and conduct research. Our professional team is diverse and highly competent with specialties in community mental health.
The Hume Center is committed to consistently improving and refining its delivery of services, as well as sharing discoveries with the broader field of Psychology. To accomplish this, we focus on developing our programs to meet specific needs with clear objectives to facilitate evaluation and strive to build evaluation and analysis components into all of our programs. Throughout this process of evaluation, we also look for opportunities to perform original research, which can further improve service delivery as well as be shared with other mental health professionals. Research opportunities exist in all programs and are encouraged at all levels within the agency, from trainees to staff.
