With one in five persons in Alameda counties and the Bay Area at large. affected by mental illness at some point in their lives, the impact of mental illness on those afflicted as well as on their loved ones, business colleagues and neighbors can often be devastating. Your support of the Hume Center gives us needed resources to promote the improvement of the mental health by furnishing comprehensive and culturally sensitive health services of the highest quality to under-served segments of our population.
